Pumpkin race participants begin the descent with their constructed pumpkin vehicles in Saturday’s Naperville Turning Pointe Autism Foundation Pumpkin Races at Rotary Hill next to Millennium Carilllon just outside of downtown Naperville. The fourth annual event helps to raise funds for the school. The event was run in heats during the mist and rain. The school was established in 2007 to assist young individuals in coping with autism and learning at the same time. The theme of the school to offer a positive experience is its position remains at the intersection of hope and innovation. Umbrellas assist in shielding participants from the rain.
