Not true at the new Family Fest Fresh Market in SouthEast Aurora. Created specially for the food-desert households of SouthEast neighborhoods, this market features discount options on high-quality, superior foods that build health and taste superb.

Double dollars, up to $50.00 worth of food, for households with Link Cards. Enough government contributions to Just Food available for 36 seniors, students, or families who use Link.

“Gold Sovereigns”, up to $25.00 worth of food, even if you don’t quality for Snap/Link. Enough gifts available by donations to Just Food from local neighbors for 32 seniors, students, or families. No Link cards needed.

But, only if you show up.

Homemade fruit-vegetable juices made to order right before your eyes, brunch burritos cooked on site, delicious salad greens found in no supermarket, Greek treats, along with fresh farm produce, some halal, are only some of the special offerings at the new Family Fest Fresh Market happening in Aurora Sunday, July 28, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m..

The Market is at Saint Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, in the parking lot, or inside in case of rain, at 1855 Fifth Avenue, just east of Farnsworth). Ample and handicapped parking. Church members will conduct free tours of the Greek Orthodox sanctuary, to see a non-Western style of Christianity.
