Village of North Aurora government officials viewed and discussed a proposed silo concept plan at the North Aurora Village Committee of the Whole meeting Monday. Muller and Muller Inc. presented a rendering of the concept (above) and estimated costs of approximately $2.6 Million. In 2017, the Village acquired land near the intersection of Route 31 and Route 56 which included the silo, from Harner’s Restaurant in a land dedication agreement. The project could include a playground, series of walkways, seating area, parking, and transformation of the silo into a lighted observation tower.
