The North Aurora Village Board approved the development and rezoning of the former site of the Fox Valley Golf Course at the North Aurora Village Board meeting Monday. Lincoln Valley on the Fox, proposed approximately one year ago by national homebuilder DR Horton, would be a 374-unit subdivision for an age-targeted 55+ residents on the 102-acre former golf course site. The city of Aurora government solicited sale of the property after it closed the golf course in 2016. President Dale Berman said it is a significant development for us, one of the largest we’ve had in a while. It’s great to have something like this passed and started. The most important thing is when it’s completed. We look forward to that day.
