A. and audit partner with Lauterbach and Amen accounting firm based in Naperville, tells North Aurora Village officials at the North Aurora Village Board meeting Monday that the firm looks forward to working with them. Trustees gave consent to a professional services agreement with Lauterbach & Amen LLP for auditing services because its bid was less than Sikich LLC which previously was the auditor for 20 years. The Village’s Operations Committee discussed the proposals at the February 5 Committee meeting and recommended that the Village accept the proposal from Lauterbach & Amen, LLP. Base annual auditing fees, excluding other services, for the 2018 audit would be $19,750 and increase incrementally thereafter as outlined in the proposal, a decrease from last year’s base fees of $25,509.
