Members of the North Central College football team in Naperville, will be honored by the Nation’s highest office Monday, June 12, when the two-time national champions will be among invited guests at the inaugural College Athlete Day, held by the 46th president of the United States, Joe Biden, and the Nation’s First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden, on the South Lawn of The White House to celebrate the 2022-23 women’s and men’s NCAA championship teams from three divisions.

Coaches, student-athletes, and staff members will include 90 invited national champions from the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) 24 official championship sports.

North Central’s national championship teams in women’s triathlon and women’s wrestling are not traveling to the event, because those sports have not achieved full championship status, per NCAA.

North Central representatives in attendance:

Head coach Brad Spencer, 2004; vice president for student affairs and athletics, Dr. Jessica Brown; the Cardinals’ full-time coaching staff members; a group of student-athletes from North Central’s 2022 Stagg Bowl championship team.
