Lauren Carlini, 7, of Aurora, former West Aurora High School girls’ volleyball star, recently was selected as an alternate for the USA women’s volleyball team in this year’s Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. She was the University of Wisconsin’s only only four-year all-America selection in volleyball and was named the 2016 James Sullivan AAU athlete of the year.
