We are One Aurora, a youth-led organization that came together the day of the Aurora Henry Pratt company shooting tragedy Friday, Feb. 15 to begin raising funds for the families and first responders affected by what took place. We have been working hard with the community as a politically-neutral group to make an event March 1, a week from now co-hosted by the Two Brothers Roundhouse as part of First Fridays, a well established Aurora community series of events each first Friday of the month, to continue to raise funds that go directly towards the families affected by tragedy.
Our portion of event is going to be a silent auction where we are pulling together local art pieces, and gift baskets and all the proceeds made from bids will go straight towards our fundraising account.
