Oswego East High School‘s Dominic Battista, a 2026 graduate, was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the fourth round as the 119th pick of the 2026 Major League Baseball Draft.
Battista’s accomplishment was recognized at the July 13 Oswego School District 308 Board of Education meeting.
