Outdoor music concert August 16 at Messenger Library

Messenger Public Library of North Aurora will be host to “The League of Erics,” an outdoors music concert, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16. on the north lawn of the Library, 113 Oak Street, in North Aurora.

Performing will be Eric Dinse and Eric Peter Schwartz, vocalists/guitarists from Aurora.

The public is invited. Admission and parking are free.

Limited seating will be provided. Attendees should bring lawn chairs and blankets.

The event is the third of three outdoors concerts in a Music at Messenger Summer Series. Earlier performers were vocalist/guitarist Jim Green June 7 and The Heels, Kathleen Dooley and Sherry Schultz, July 21.

Library director Shannon Halikias said in June, “We’re launching outdoor music nights, Music at Messenger. “Bring your picnic and lawn chair, and listen to talented performers selected from the Fox Valley region.”

A Fall outdoor series will feature Aaron Kelly at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15 and Matt Keen at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28. Kelly is a singer and songwriter who performs with a guitar and harmonica.

Keen, a singer and songwriter, specializes in rock and blues.
