New England Congregational Church (NECC), 406 W. Galena Boulevard in Aurora, will be host to a joint outdoor service with Our Savior Lutheran Church, Aurora, at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 3.
The public is invited. Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets.
An all-ages outdoor service will be held in green space at NECC’s playground.
Reverend Brandon Perrine, NECC pastor, and Reverend Julie Grafe, Our Savior pastor, will co-lead the service.
Rev. Perrine message will be “Immune to Snakebites.”
The service will feature a children’s time, communion and a new liturgy designed to bring the two congregations together in a service.
Music will be provided by pianist Andrew Maya.
Refreshments including homemade strawberry shortcake and coffee will be served after the service.
