Team members of Plainfield North girls softball celebrate Saturday following a 4-1 victory over Oswego East in the Oswego Class 4A Sectional tournament championship. Plainfield North defeated Sandburg High School, 5-4, in Monday’s Super-sectional at Hinsdale South. Plainfield North will play Palatine at 5:30 p.m. Friday in the State tournament semifinal at EastSide Centre in East Peoria.
