The Aurora Police Department officers invite everyone for a cup of coffee Friday, Aug. 20, at Dunkin’ locations to support Special Olympics Illinois Coffee for Champions (formerly Cop On Top).
From 5 a.m. to noon, officers will be at 1255 N. Farnsworth Avenue and 1237 N. Eola Road in Aurora. Assisting with collecting donations and raffle sales will be volunteers from Citizens Police Academy of Aurora Alumni.
Customers who make a donation to Special Olympics Illinois will receive a coupon for a free doughnut. Donors giving $10 or more will receive a coupon for a free coffee and a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug, while supplies last.
