Rare Mexican-American masks are on display in “Masks: Identity in Diversity” at Aurora Public Art, 20 E. Downer Place, Aurora. Deeply rooted in Mexican tradition, from indigenous dances and Michoacan carnivals to contemporary reinterpretations, masks have been vehicles for transformation and collective expression. The display is open through November 1 from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Al Benson/The Voice
