Notably: “97.5% of scientists agree with whoever is funding them,’’ wrote Susan Capitano-Hooker. And so it goes in the marriage between science and government these days. Politicians on the left don’t miss opportunities, blaming human generated CO2 for every weather related catastrophe.
We’re supposed to be that gullible. It’s a simple knee-jerk reaction, with no thought, data, or evidence is required. Never mind the fact we have more than 10 variables affecting the warming of our planet. Never mind this most recent warming of our planet started at least 1,000 years before we were gassing up our SUVs. I’ve said it in articles to The Voice previously, and I’ll say it again: When politics is allowed to influence science, the winner is always the looney politician. The very dangerous result of the science fiction coming out of this unholy arrangement is that individuals are well on their way distrusting science and scientists, at least those of us who are not so gullible that is. But I’d be remiss suggesting the bastardizing of science only occurs with climate change fanaticism.
Anything related to viruses, vaccines, immunology, pandemics, et.al. are the most recent half truths and falsehoods being peddled to the public. The most disturbing aspect of this wokeness is the number of individuals, who actually understand the science, mislead. Dr. Anthony Fauci has been a constant source of misinformation. Believing what the good doctor says is, however, not recognized as gullibility by his fervent loyalists. Fauci has, and is, actually involved in gain of function research with the Wuhan virology lab in China. He has approved and provided funds for gain of function research with our tax dollars. Fauci lied to Congress when he said he wasn’t involved with the lab or gain of function research. The evidence for it is documented. This information appears in his personal E-mail that are in the public domain for all of us to see. So don’t be gullible. Do your research.. If we had a Department of Justice that actually did justice, Dr. Fauci would be on trial today.
“You can never underestimate the gullibility of the American people,” wrote Wayne Johnson in the August 19 edition of The Voice, thevoice.us/thoughts-include-maga-orange-to-science. Ironically, this statement is one of the few things with which I have some agreement with Wayne. However, I would certainly include the rest of humanity being just as gullible as Americans. We can all be had. However, you and I are to understand Wayne is not included in our gullibility. In Wayne’s World you look down on those not deserving of his approval. And you call them names for exercising their ability to critically think about unproven vaccines and government overreach endangering civil liberties. In Wayne’s World it is a given he owns the truth about elections, viruses, climate change, and all things. You see, Mr. Johnson never has fallen victim to the misconceptions the rest of us have.
Following the logical progression Wayne makes that Elvis is dead, so orange man must be bad, tells us how he uses logic, as well.
Speaking of gullibility, Wayne has heard ignoring election laws should not be a concern of ours in the 2020 election. Neither should mail-in balloting without signature verifications be a problem. Breaking chain of custody for ballots? No problem. Providing drop boxes in the middle of nowhere? Absolutely safe. Statistical anomalies? Nothing to see here. This is what Wayne has heard so he dutifully passes these understandings to us. We should all know none of these things matter, especially when you hate the guy from whom you steal.
