I appreciated reading Barb Nadeau’s article on Medicare in a recent issue of The Voice. My wife and I have used a SHIP (Senior Health Insurance Program) advisor the past couple of years and we’re glad we did. Fortunately, we have also steered clear of the Medicare Advantage plans. I’ve heard some horror stories about these so-called advantage plans from friends who are paying high fees for health services that Medicare would have covered for free.
