To whom it may concern:
Pure Fishing (Plano Molding) Sandwich, Illinois was visited by OSHA earlier this month. They have safety issues to be worked on. There are racks that sway from side to side with thousands of pounds on them. Not very safe.
Also, the Company retaliated on the employees by not allowing them to have water on their forklift cupholders. Something it was made to have. They said no more drinks during a temperature increase into the mid 90s. That was definitely retaliation. These issues still exist.
Now, there is talk of bringing in a Teamster union to represent the workers. Please feel free to reach out to me for more information. I was told not to put union material out for employees. I hear now that there’s a new law that protects the workers from bringing in a union to represent them. Time will tell.
