Thank you for every one of your 1,312 votes in my first run for Oswego trustee. I appreciate all of you who voted for me. Next time, let a friend or family member know of your faith in me to double that number.
The experience I gained and all the wonderful people I met made it a worthwhile endeavor. If you agree with my reasons for running, and you’d like to join me next time, I welcome you.
If needed, I urge you to register to vote before the next election. Your voice is not heard if you don’t vote. We have low-voter turnout for municipal elections and we need to turn that around.
Congratulations and best of luck to all candidates who won. Let’s win the battle against COVID-19 to get our children back in school safely. I am fully vaccinated thanks to the advice from the Oswego Senior Center to sign up through the professional and efficient Kendall County Health Department. I still wear a mask, knowing the fight against the virus isn’t over.
