Dear editor;
Having abundant, American energy, and a clean environment are not mutually exclusive. Americans on every side of the political divide should come together to find responsible solutions to our energy issues.
Americans want to be able to heat their homes, drive their cars, and power their businesses while still keeping the air clean for their kids to breathe. American innovation has allowed us to have both.
We have become the largest producer of natural gas and oil in the world, all while seeing our carbon emissions hit record lows. In addition, the energy industry invests millions in renewable energy solutions every all of it.
As Americans, we owe it to our kids to encourage sensible energy development while being good stewards of our environment. As Americans, we can work towards our shared goals.
