As I sit here typing my next letter to this publication, the voice of Donald Trump continues to play in the background. I wish to thank C-SPAN for its uninterrupted coverage of Trump’s news conference at the end of the meeting of the G7 country leaders. I’m sure that other media outlets will make little snippets of highlights or low lights available for consumption by their own viewer base, but I would encourage everyone to make the attempt to view this news conference in its entirety. After having done so myself, I can only conclude that anyone who is able to view Trump’s rambling and incoherent presentation without an overwhelming feeling of embarrassment for him and for this country is well qualified for a government position under this administration.
