Lisle Home and School Organization Council will hold its second annual “Roarin’ 5K+,” a virtual 3.2-mile fun run and walk, to assist scholarship funds for senior students who are graduating from Lisle High School.
The event opened March 27 and will run through Saturday, April 9. Jen Lauermann, a parent, said individuals and groups are invited to sign up. Registration is $10 per person or $25 for families.
The first 25 paid families will receive an event yard sign. Prizes will be awarded for most Lisle school spirit, best use of Lisle landmarks and best-dressed pet.
Participants are asked to post race photos to the Lisle Roarin’ 5K Facebook group and send by E-mail photos to lisleroarin5K@Gmail.com. To qualify for prizes, photos must be posted by midnight Sunday, April 10.
