Sam Renzetti specialty: Dance and dance teacher

Sam Renzetti was born October 20, 1980 to Lori and Joseph Renzetti in St. Charles. He has three brothers and a sister. He attended Aurora Christian School and was home-schooled. Sam earned an associate’s degree from Waubonsee Community College.

Sam Renzetti began his experience with dance with he was eight years old and his mother, Lori, suggested that he go to the Bonnie Ardelean Dance Studio in Aurora to take dance lessons.

That did it!

Sam took classes in jazz, tap, ballet. He was subsequently hired to be a dance instructor at Prisco Community Center, part of the Fox Valley Park District.

“I taught classes approximately three to four days a week,” Sam said. “I loved teaching and thus found my passion at an early age. I am super thankful that the Park District hired me and I taught at Prisco Community Center in Aurora about six years. I developed and strengthened their dance program when I became older. I learned a lot about teaching through my journey at the Park District, “ Sam said.

When he was 21, he opened his own dance company called Xtreme Dance Force. Six years later he opened his own studio called Xtreme Dance Center. He will begin his 20th season in 2022. “We have had an astronomical amount of success through the years,” he said.

Xtreme Dance Studio is a competitive dance company whose dancers range in age four to 19 and dance throughout the Chicagoland area and at national events such as, “America’s Got Talent.” The studio is at 1911 Glacier Park, Suite 135, Naperville. Phone number is 630-922-5678

Sam has opened and performed for several top recording artists, including Ludacris, Ciara, Twista, and Soulja Boy. He has worked with artists Justin Bieber, JLO, Lady LaGa, Britney Spears, and the Pussy Cat Dolls. He continues teaching all over the country while he sets award-winning routines.

Sam has trained in Hollywood with choreographers and teachers. He has appeared on the show “Pop Stars2” as lead singer and dancer for “Veggie Tales,” and the national syndicated TV show “Health and Lifestyles Weekly” and other top performances across the USA.

Xtreme Dance Force was rated one of the top five dance companies in the USA by Dance Spirit Magazine. Renzetti’s dancers are performing all over the world. They have appeared on the Fox series “So You Think You Can Dance” and on Randy Jackson’s “Present American’s Best Dance Crew” season one and two. Sam was featured as the head hip hop coach in two shows on the award-winning MTV reality show, “MADE.”

Sam is a country singer going by the name of Nick Richards. His brother, JC, is co-director of Xtreme Dance Force and has been an integral part of the team (www.NICKRICHARDSMUSIC.com) (www.xtremedanceforce.com).

His awards include first place at the “World of Dance” Chicago competition in 2015 and as a top finalist on MTV’s Hit show “America’s Best Dance Crew.” Xtreme was invited to perform with the Black Eyed Peas on the holiday season special episode of OPRAH. Xtreme is an 11-time World Victory Cup champion.

Sam is proud of his dancers and their determination to perfect their techniques and to teach others.

“I see results. I see lives changed. I see a lot of people affected,” he has said. Sam has choreographed the halftime show featuring Lupe Fiasco for the Major League Soccer all-star game. His goal is to be the best in Illinois and to be the best dance company in the USA.
