SCARCE’s 2nd Repair Fair will have experts on-site to perform simple repairs on household items at 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at 800 S Rohlwing Road, Addison. It will be first come first serve and there will be re-used jewelry pop-up shop, and used books & records in the Resale Shop. Attendees can bring up to two items, and there may be a small fee, depending on the repair. Items include lamps and light fixtures; sharpening for knifes, handheld tools, and scissors (no shovels, mower blades, hollow ground hair shears, or clipper blades); jewelry repair/modification (no watches or rings); crystal, glassware, and porcelain repair.
