The Aurora Public Library Foundation (APLF) is proud to invite the community to attend this year’s Shop for a Cause/Fashion Show April 25 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and this year’s event is in partnership with Wyckwood House. It will feature raffles, fashion, and charcuterie.
It will be a night to remember at Wyckwood House, 80 S. River Street, Aurora, IL 60506! Enjoy the company of local businesswomen while sipping on delicious cocktails and shopping their beautiful collections in store. For every dollar you spend during the event, Wyckwood House will donate 15% towards Library renovations and improvements. At 7 p.m. enjoy front-row seats to a fashion show highlighting the women business leaders in our community. When they walk the runway, they will model some fabulous Spring outfits and accessories while spotlighting the work they do for our community and what Library services mean to them.
Through the generous support of community members, local businesses and the Foundation Board, proceeds from this event will support the upcoming renovations at the Eola Road Branch, particularly enrichment projects such as a new Makerspace, low sensory spaces for youth/adults and expansion of the children’s area.
