Snow delight/fright in Aurora’s West Side

An Aurora West Side resident plows snow Tuesday morning after an overnight snowfall. The snow was predicted to continue, intermittently, until Wednesday. Accumulations varied in northern Illinois sites Tuesday from three to six inches, however, far less than the 23 inches Chicago received January 26-27, 1967. Al Benson/The Voice
A West Side of Aurora resident’s barbecue and deck furniture receive a covering of snow Monday evening and Tuesday morning. The widespread front moved across northern Illinois and was expected to leave snow, intermittently until Wednesday. The snow fall recordings Tuesday were between three and six inches.
