Sports Medicine Class of Indian Valley Vocational Center presents check to Fox Valley Therapy Dog Club

The Sports Medicine Class of Indian Valley Vocational Center (IVVC) presents a check to be used for award pins to the Fox Valley Therapy Dog Club (FVTDC). IVVC‘s Fast and Furriest Run 2019 generated $250 that was presented to FVTDC vice president Sue Schumann and Paisley, left. Student Dawn P. presented the check, Claire L. is receiving a kiss from Tia Rose, and Kelsey L. In the back, left to right, Students Stevie C., Julian M., and Joey L.. FVTDC member Lyn Benjamin, owner of Tia Rose, and member Nancy Nixon and Reba. The group’s teacher is Bridget Kreiter. Thirty-five students were involved in the run. Award pins are given in units of 25 to therapy dog teams completing visits to hospitals, nursing homes, libraries and special requests of a comfort visit. Some teams have accumulated visit totals of several hundred.
