The Aurora Sunrise Rotary Club celebrated its 20th Anniversary Wine and Chocolate Extravaganza at the Stonebridge Country Club March 25.

We extend a thank you to all who attended and participated and made this event a huge success. The tables were filled to capacity with guests. Auction items were displayed online ahead of the event for anyone to bid on. For the all who attended, a full course dinner was served, with oodles of wine, appetizers, and dessert.

After dinner a presentation, given by our Club president, Ryan Ivemeyer, who vividly outlined our community projects, charities, and the volunteer work we do in Aurora. When joining Rotary, every entrant vows to put “Service Above Self” as part of their lives. So many of you have given us that support to continue what we do best,

One of the events was a rousing game of “Heads and Tails “ a real crowd-pleaser in which everyone can participate and play. The last person standing wins.

They are applauded, embarrassed and rewarded with a cash prize that appeared to be worth the teasing.

The evening would not have been complete without a Live Auction. It too was a roaring success.

We hope to see all of you again next year. Your generosity, faithful following, and kindness shows everyone how much the people of Aurora care.
