The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will hold it’s June “Meet and Greet”, organized by media chairperson, Ann McBride, to expose our Club and our mission, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 16, at Panera Bread, 369 Randall Road, in South Elgin.
Plan on stopping by, meet some of our members, pickup information on diabetes, prediabetes, healthy meal planning, and our “Diabetic Recipes” booklet, while enjoying a tasty treat, along with your favorite beverage!

The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley’s 4th Annual “Tee Off to Defeat Diabetes” Golf Outing and Banquet is being held Saturday, June 6, at Bliss Creek Golf Course, 1 Golf View Road, in Sugar Grove, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. We’ve put together a complete golf outing package. Only $175 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, golf cart, goody bag, and a great steak dinner! Not a golfer…why not attend the Golf Banquet? Steak dinner, door prizes, basket raffles, and 50/50 cash drawing! Dinner follows golf at 5 p.m.. Tickets: $50 per person.
Why not become a hole sponsor: Gold $500, silver $400, bronze $300, or put your name or business on our Friends of DCFV Sponsorship Banner for $150. Hole sponsors will be listed in our annual program and on the Friends of DCFV Banner, which will be displayed at the golf outing, and other Club events throughout the summer. Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley work together to bring about an awareness of diabetes, in the Fox Valley area, while raising funds to support diabetes research at UChicago Medicine’s-Kovler Diabetes Center, aid uninsured and underinsured diabetic patients at VNA Health Care, assist diabetics through our “Jerry Youngren Diabetic Support Fund”, along with other meaningful donations to aid our Fox Valley community.
