The Holmstad’s annual Bazaar is one of Fox Valley’s most anticipated events. Now in its 41st year, residents are putting final touches on all of the unique items they sell to the public when the community will open its doors at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29. Shoppers will have a huge selection of items from baked goods, designer knits, quilts, wood and needle crafts, plants and second-hand treasures such as jewelry, furniture, and books.
It takes the time and talents of more than 200 volunteers to make the event happen.
The Holmstad, 700 W Fabyan Parkway, Batavia, is a faith-based, not-for-profit retirement community.
