The League of Women Voters Central Kane County will provide three Aurora aldermanic forums in March along with forums in Geneva and St. Charles

Forums in Aurora:

Ward 1 and at-large candidates, Tuesday, Mar. 5 at 7:30 p.m.. (Note time change to 7:30 p.m. due to 6 p.m. State of the City event)

Wards 5 and 6 candidates, Wednesday, Mar. 13 at 7 p.m..

Ward 8 candidates, Monday, Mar. 18 at 7 p.m.

The forums will be at the Aurora Police Department, 1200 E. Indian Trail.

 

Forums in Geneva:

• The Geneva Candidates Forum will consist of School Board, Library Board and alderperson candidates (in contested wards). The forum will be March 6 at 7 p.m. at the Geneva Middle School- North, 1357 Viking Drive.

 

Forums in St. Charles:

• Candidates for School Board and 1 aldermanic ward will be there. The forum will be Thursday, Mar. 14 at 7 p.m. at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church- Wiley Hall, 307 Cedar Avenue.

 

Forums in Sugar Grove:

• Candidates for Sugar Grove Fire Protection District, Waubonsee Community College trustees,  and Village of Sugar Grove trustees.  The forum will be Thursday, Mar. 21 at 7 p.m. at the Sugar Grove Township Community Building, 141 Main Street.

As part of our Voter Education mission, we sponsor forums prior to every election so that candidates seeking to serve the citizens of our communities may present their views directly to voters in an open, unbiased setting.
