State representative Stephanie Kifowit will be host to a free Kids’ Expo and Touch-A-Truck event for children and their families from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, at the Phillips Park Aquatic Center, 828 Montgomery Road, Aurora, in the North and South parking lots off of Howell Place.
Some activities will include Scitech games for kids, face-painting, and the Brookfield Zoo will bring an animal from 11:30 a.m. until noon. The Aurora Police Department and Kane County Sheriff will have various emergency vehicles and Air methods will land a medical emergency helicopter at 10 a.m. and it will take off at 11 a.m..
