Aurora Police Department and Emergency Management Agency assist with traffic congestion on Jericho Road.
Due to the COVID-19 closures, the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry is serving four times the amount clients per week and is continuously providing fresh produce, meat, and dairy to more than 800 families during each drive-thru distribution day. Unfortunately, the high demand for food has caused traffic congestion on roads leading to the Pantry.
Aurora Food Pantry shoppers are asked to approach the Pantry from the west, off of Orchard Road. Aurora University has kindly donated its sports complex as a staging area for vehicles to keep the roadways clear. The Aurora Police Department and the Emergency Management Agency will be on scene to assist with the new traffic pattern leading from the sports complex to the Pantry lot.
