U.S. Air Force Band Concert July 1

There will be a free concert from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 1 at Fox Valley Kicker Club, 1015 Harvey Road, Oswego.
The band Starlifter, a United States Air Force Band, is a seven-piece group of talented Airmen-musicians. The group performs virtually every musical idiom, from rock and pop to jazz and country, to great contemporary, and traditional patriotic songs.
The event is sponsored by Fox Valley Veterans Breakfast Club, Aurora Area Shrine Club, Oswego Chamber of Commerce, Fox Valley Kickers Club, and Premier Mailing & Printing.

Summer hours for SciTech
The hours of operation at SciTech Hands On Museum are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m..
The extended Summer hours will allow working families to enjoy the museum after business hours. In addition, no group trips will be scheduled during evening hours to provide a more quiet, less-crowded environment for sensory sensitive guests, starting at 4 p.m..
The Fox Motion Park is open to the public, weather permitting, weekdays from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and all day Saturdays.

Rockford Peaches manager in Yorkville
Rebecca Tulloch, manager of the Rockford Peaches vintage woman’s baseball team, will trace the truth and fiction about the Tom Hanks film, “A League of their Own,”​ at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at Yorkville Public Library, 902 Game Farm Road in Yorkville. Admission is free.
