Two undefeated Division III college football teams kept their victory streaks alive. The undefeated Aurora University football Spartans continued blazing a trail of gridiron greatness by defeating Lakeland University, 70-14, last weekend. North Central College in Naperville, advanced to 9-0 with an 83-26 victory against Illinois Wesleyan in the same weekend. Aurora University’s legendary football coach, Don Bebee, a former NFL wide receiver and Super Bowl champion, invited Aurora mayor Richard Irvin (jersey No. 1) to the game to fire up the players with a pre-game pep talk, serve as the honorary captain of the game, and perform the coin toss!
