All Aurora veterans are invited to attend the annual West Aurora High School Veterans Assembly at 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8 in the Main Gym at West Aurora High School. We will have patriotic songs, recognition of veterans, performances by the Blackhawk Drill Team, and a keynote speech from Aurora mayor Richard Irvin.
Reserved parking is available for visitors on the east side of the school, off of Commonwealth Avenue.
