The Oswego Veterans Serenity Park Committee is excited to announce the official ground-breaking event to mark the beginning of Park construction.

The community is invited to the celebration at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at the site along Adams Street, just north of Hudson Crossing Park near downtown Oswego. Members of the Committee, dignitaries, and Board members of the Oswegoland Park Foundation, will be in attendance to begin this amazing privately-funded project.

Site plans call for benches, bricks, sculptures, and a water feature that will encompass the eternal flame. The Serenity Park is the work of multiple community members and will complement the Park District’s vision of open space along the Fox River. If construction continues as planned, the Park should be completed and open later in 2019.
