North Aurora Police Chief David Fisher answers questions about the lowest bid for five new squad cars at the Village Board meeting Monday. Chief Fisher said the lowest bid was $160,000 from Morrow Brothers Ford, the State bid vendor. The bid was $4,000 lower than a local Ford dealership and the savings was in the warranty. Chief Fisher said the fleet will be complete with all-wheel drive vehicles.
