Boundary Waters Canoe talk in Batavia
The Valley of the Fox Sierra Club will have its next meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, May 13 at the Batavia Library, 10 S Batavia Avenue, Batavia. Sierra Club member Nate Stelton will give a presentation on experiencing the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). Nate will give us an overview of this magical natural environment, including information about its management, trip-planning, history, gear show-and-tell, and a few stories tossed in.

Stelton is an avid canoeist, camper, and advocate of the north woods. He has been visiting the BWCAW since 1994, and always finds something new each trip.

Friends, family, and the public are invited

This should be a really good program, especially if you are interested in camping in the wild.
