During this week’s board meeting, West Aurora High School’s Air Force JROTC program leaders and instructors were recognized as Those Who Made a Difference. MSgt Scott Hellinger, SMSgt Matthew Pierzchala, Cadet Ellie Rogowski, and Cadet Gianna Phu were acknowledged for their dedication in achieving an overall unit assessment score of ‘Exceeds Standards,’ reflecting their commitment to excellence, citizenship, and the positive impact they’ve made on the AFJROTC program at West Aurora High School.
