West Aurora High School’s Erik Perez, 8, hits against Geneva defenders in the 12-team Blackhawk boys varsity invitational Saturday. West Aurora defeated Geneva in a second-round match and went on to defeat Wheeling in the championship Gold Division match, 16-25, 25-22, 25-18.
