The annual Recycling Extravaganza with SCARCE will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 13 at the DuPage Fairgrounds, 2015 Manchester Road, Wheaton.
Accepted items include: Car and other large batteries (no household batteries), working bikes and bike-related items, 4 paper bags of documents for shredding, electronics, TVs and monitors for $25-$35, scrap metal, textiles, eyewear and hearing aids, holiday lights, Inkjet cartridges, mercury barometers, thermometers, and thermostats, Musical instruments, records, EpiPens, lancets, medications, syringes, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, propane tanks, paint for a fee, and soccer-related items.
