Winter Clothes Drive through Jan. 31

In partnership with Cradles to Crayons, Naperville Park District is host to a children’s clothes drive at Fort Hill Activity Center, 20 Fort Hill Drive, Naperville, through January 31. Naperville residents are invited to drop off essential items, such as warm clothing and Winter coats, for children ranging from newborn to age 12.

Items may be dropped off anytime during hours of operation at Fort Hill Activity Center. Hours are Monday-Friday, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m..

This Winter, Cradles to Crayons is looking to keep more than 100,000 Chicagoland children warm. According to the organization’s website, government safety net programs support only three of four basic needs: food, housing and energy. Cradles to Crayons provides children living in homeless or low-income situations with clothing and other essential items needed to thrive at home, school and at play.
