World of Christmas Dec. 11 in Aurora will be at the New England Church

“A World of Christmas,” nativity sets and food celebrating Christmas traditions worldwide, will be presented Sunday, Dec. 11, at New England Congregational Church, 406 W. Galena Boulevard in Aurora.

The public is invited.

Admission and parking are free.

The event in the Church narthex will follow the 10 a.m. worship service. Students of the Beloved Community, a Church committee, is the sponsor.

Guests are invited to view nativity sets by artists of non-European traditions and sample food to match.

A committee statement read, “What if we were to embrace Christmas as it is celebrated elsewhere?

“Join us on the second Sunday of Advent (December 11) to open our thoughts to the bigger world of Christmas,” the statement read.

New England holds Sunday worship services at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. each week.

The public is invited.
