Yorkville Public Library Book Sale Aug. 31

The Friends of the Yorkville Public Library are planning its 15th annual Used Book Sale. This great fundraiser has brought in more $77,000 for the Library! With your help, we can add to this total. Money raised by the sale goes directly to the Library to support programs and materials.

The Used Book Sale will be held during Hometown Days in Yorkville, Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sunday, Sept. 1. The group is looking for donations of gently-used books that are still in great condition. Paperbacks, hardcover, and books for adults and children are all accepted. DVDs and Blu-ray are also accepted. All materials should be brought to the main desk at the Library.

The Friends of the Yorkville Library is a volunteer group of individuals focused on supporting and promoting the services and programs of the Library. Membership information is available at the Library and on the Library’s home page, The Friends meet the second Monday of each month at 10:15 a.m. at the library.
