Yorkville Public Library is challenging the community to read a total of 50,000 minutes through February 28. This program is for readers of all ages. If the goal is met, a $100 donation from the Friends of the Library will be given to the Kendall County Food Pantry. In addition, another $100 will be donated anonymously, and there is a food pantry donation box at the circulation desk. We were more than 68% of the way to our goal.

Monetary donations are most effective because for every $1 donated buying power of the Northern Illinois Food Bank to provide $8 worth of groceries to neighbors in need. Register yourself and/or family members on our website at YPL Reading Programs. Keep reading so we can work together to help others.
