As part of the Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Youth Climate Action Fund, young residents aged 15-24 can now receive microgrants to design and implement projects that improve their community and support the City of Aurora’s sustainability goals.
Aurora is one of only 300 cities worldwide participating in this program. Areas of sustainability focus for projects may include climate change, community development and land use, education and engagement, energy efficiency, conservation and management, environmental justice, resilient community, transportation and infrastructure, waste minimization, reuse and recycling, and water quality and conservation.
