More than 90 individuals participate in two caroling tours December 15 for the “Peace in the Womb” Christmas Caroling outside of abortion facilities in Chicago and DuPage County. Christmas carols were sung at seven abortion facilities, four on the Chicago tour, three in DuPage County. Planned Parenthood called the police on the peaceful carolers at their facility at LaSalle and Division Streets in Chicago. The police initially told the group they had to move down the road because of the Chicago “Bubble Zone” ordinance, but the pro-lifers eventually convinced them the ordinance requires no such thing. At American Women’s Medical Center in Chicago, counter-protesters tried unsuccessfully to drown out the carolers with New Years Eve-style noisemakers. Pro-Life Action League was the sponsor.
