North Aurora resident Dave Smith was one of two speakers asking North Aurora officials questions at the North Aurora Village Board meeting Monday. Smith inquired about the $5,000 tax levy increase for the 92 homes in the Oaks Special Service area #7 in North Aurora. The money is set to repair erosion around the retention pond in the area. The amount would be an increase of approximately $55 per year. The tax levy for the Special Service Area was one of all 10 with various amounts that were approved.
