The Aurora Police Department has taken multiple individuals into custody after a shooting on the city’s near East Side that left a 16-year-old suffering from life-threatening injuries Tuesday afternoon. Just after 4:15 p.m., Aurora Police officers responded to the 600 block of Second Avenue for reports of a person shot.
