Saturday, April 6, the Aurora and Fox Valley community are invited to Aurora Central Catholic High School, 1255 N. Edgelawn Dr. (corner Edgelawn & Indian Trail), Aurora, 8 a.m.-noon, for the “75th Kiwanis Pancake Day.”
The Kiwanis Club of Aurora in its 108 th year presents this annual breakfast event to fund their work with children and the community. Last year, the club served over 800 breakfasts.
Annually, the Aurora, Illinois Kiwanis Foundation donates $30,000, primarily to Aurora’s youth. These donations occur through awarding of Kiwanis scholarships (managed by the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley); subsidies to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and baseball teams; and the sponsorship of clubs for youth at the elementary, high school and college levels.
